Our lead inspection team is Transport for NSW-authorised under the Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) to issue eSafety Checks (pink slips) for light vehicles up to 4.5t. Combined 18+ years of hands-on Sydney workshop experience — starting in general repair, moving through diagnostic specialisation on European and Japanese platforms, and settling into full-time mobile inspection since 2019. What we will and won't publish.
Every technical claim is sourced. Inspection rules, fees, timeframes and pass/fail criteria are checked against the current Transport for NSW eSafety Check rules, AIS Inspector Handbook and Service NSW documentation before publication. If we can't verify a claim, it doesn't ship.
Pricing is fixed and public. Our mobile pink slip is a flat $179 inc GST and our pre-purchase inspection is a flat $280 inc GST. No surge pricing, no travel surcharge inside our coverage area, and the article-quoted price is what appears on your receipt.
Independent, not dealer-affiliated. We do not receive commissions from mechanics, dealers, or any workshop we might refer repairs to. When we recommend fixing something, it's because we found it — not because someone paid us to find it.
Corrections are visible. When we update an article for a factual change (fee schedule update, rule change, corrected error), the "Updated" date on the article changes and the material change is noted at the top of the piece.
